What a fantastic night yesterday at Korjaamo, Helsinki! It’s been way too long since I saw these boys live on stage, and even longer since I got to take proper photos. Not only that, I had some of my very best friends with me. It’s been a while. A lot of traveling and living abroad is to blame for the long time apart, I guess.
Poets of the Fall have been a part of my life for about a dozen years now and it’s always a joy watching them do what they do. They’re my friends, they’re my idols, and I will always fangirl over them.
I’m sort of sad that at some point I lost count of how many gigs I’ve actually seen. Satu says it’s way over 250 now. Funny, it doesn’t feel like that at all. They’re still amazing, the music still feels new and fresh, and there’s always the same happiness and excitement buzzing in my head when the intro starts and they walk on stage.
Anyway. Good times, good stuff. It was lovely seeing some familiar faces yesterday! Here’s to hoping I’ll make it to the UK gigs as well… fingers crossed.
And tadah. A few photos from yesterday. Hope you like!
